My cats love being able to stay at dusk and at dark. The entire project has taken me awhile as I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, but got most of it done by myself. I added a tarp for rain protection. I added some sitting areas, and just today installed the 4 foot hammock. Little boy Chigger, in the photo, cannot get out of this! He can get out of homemade kennel. He is very small so we don't want him out. He adores this catio!!!
Both cats love this catio & adpated to it right away...The catio was easy to put together; I actually used black zip ties with no issues...Mango (short hair) & Butterscotch (long hair) are brothers...
We wanted something that was removable (selling house in a year), but yet aesthetically pleasing, for our existing front porch. This fit perfectly! Plenty of room for 2 cats. Sturdy, quality construction with very nice wood perches. The hammocks are also well made and fit the cats very well. It was easily assembled in an evening and we were using it the next day. We also like that the door locks for quick trips into the kitchen to get snacks or grab something quickly. We would never leave the cats unattended, but it’s nice to know you can lock the door and run inside for something quickly. We also like that we can take this with us and add to it in at our new home. So money NOT wasted. Highly recommend this product!
My three very shy feral cats love the catio. They live in my shed and this gives them an opportunity to go outside. Furthermore, the catio looks great in my yard. We are very pleased with the catio.
Our Cats warmed up to the catio in a few days. Now they hang out there a good bit. It’s really well made and well designed. We recommend HH as their service and communication was great.
My 3 cats love the catio! All I need to yell out to get their attention is “want to go outside?!” And they run to the glass door to be let into the catio. They hang out for hours at a time in the catio. My 8yr old cat was initially nervous and would only stay at the bottom of the catio but is now comfortable and climbs the higher boards. I have a 4th cat that is 8yr old that is nervous and won’t enter it just yet, but was a big hit with the other 3 cats. My fiancée sealed the boards because we live in a state that always rains and didn’t want the wood to become damaged over time. For rainy states I recommend sealing the wood. The hammock was also a big hit. Towards the beginning I had one cat that didn’t let others use the hammock because she claimed as her own. She shares now. A monster to built and definitely an expensive purchase but it’s worth seeing how happy the cats get with some sun, air, and bird watching!
My two young girls love their new catio! They play and lounge to their heart’s content. But what’s most important to me is that when I travel, I know my girls are safe and sound 24/7. That peace of mind is priceless!
