These clips are used for potentially two different purposes during the installation of your Habitat Haven.
- By placing a clip every 18-24 inches along installed shelving, you can minimize any would-be waviness or imperfections in the wire mesh panels. This is recommended for maximum durability of your enclosure and for the most attractive & finished look.
- If your enclosure will sit on wood, concrete, pavers, or any other hard surface then you can use these specialty clips to hold the edges of the enclosure along the bottom in place.These clips can also be used on vertical surfaces to hold mesh to buildings, walls, etc.
The clips will also come with 24 small wood screws designed to hold these clips to cedar shelving along the perimeter
IMPORTANT - When used on a vertical surface, the clips are intended to stabilize the enclosure, stairs, tower, etc. They should not be the primary load-bearing fastener. They are NOT intended to hold the weight of the enclosure or component you are applying them to.
