Sadie and I love it. She can exit the first standard Catio and walk down the 12 foot tunnel and sit next to me.
We get to hold hands/paws while we are outside together. She can also have a covered area when the weather is bad.

I ordered the catio from Amazon and realized I needed stairs. I wasn’t sure how to get the cats from the catio to the windows so I emailed habitat haven. So helpful and quick. I really regret ordering my catio from Amazon I wish I would have ordered everything from habitat heaven to support their work! The quality of these stairs and ladders are UNBELIEVABLE. My only recommendation is to have an option of a clear cover to allow the cats to sunbathe but stay dry from the rain
Even living in NC, I was a bit worried that the cats wouldn't use their Catio in rain or colder temps, but I was so wrong! They love it. They use their litter box, they watch the birds, the squirrels, the chipmunks & they've loved watching the falling leaves. I adapted a couple of gazebo panels to insulate the Catio during rain & cold, windy days, but they prefer having their sights accessible, so the panels must come down during the day. It is a fantastic idea to give indoor cats another way to release their energy. I hinted to my kids that we'd all enjoy another unit for expansion, as a combined Christmas present (I hope they respond accordingly). Easy to assemble & great design! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It gives me peace of mind they they are not going to be eaten by a Predator also it is there choice to go out when they want too.
My cats love this enclosure in the winter, spring, fall, and summer. I didn't think they would be satisfied with not going totally outside, but they are! I am relieved that they are safe, even if we are not home. I am in the process of ordering a custom flap for the bedroom window where the Tunnel connects. I need to decide if another Tunnel out the bedroom window is feasible. We occasionally have bottleneck issues with the big cats not allowing the small cats to pass by. As the song goes, "life is a highway!".
