Cedar planks are great for the outdoors, they do not rot and are a flea deterrent. The standard planks are milled 1" thick by 8" wide. Milled wood is slightly smaller than the measurements given.

  • Shelves 68" to 92" get 4 brackets (one on each end and two in the middle for support. Shelves 26" to 66" get 3 brackets (one on each end and another in the middle.). Shelves 24" or less get 2 brackets (one on each end)
  • 8" wood is nominal 1x8 = Actual size is 7.25" x 0.875".

    Easy to install

    Well-made shelves with hooks that were easy to install. 8” is a good width for the cats to walk on. I ordered a long one the same length as the catio however it would have been helpful to get them a little shorter because it was too tight to fit them in without bowing the cage. We shaved off half an inch ourselves and they fit perfectly.

    The catio shelves are sturdy and wide...the cats are often on the floor boards, so I'm glad I have the nice wooden floor for them.

    Our 3 cats love this catio

    They are out on their shelves all the time. They even spend half the night out there and sometimes even in the rain. They find a dry place under the eaves of the house.
