One of my cats cried every time we opened the back door for our dogs but we just aren’t comfortable letting her free roam. She spends every possible moment in her catio! We know she is safe and enjoying all the sights, sounds, and smells.
Everything is so well made! Our 3 indoor cats love going outside now. I was worried that they might grt out of the enclosure, but everything is perfectly secure!
I have a Large Main Coon kitty. He can’t go outside as we have coyotes that have come down into our neighborhoods. My kitty LOVES to go outside and watch the birds. Buying the Habitathaven catio is perfect for us. Kitty can be safely outside as often as he wants.
We used Habitat Haven to build a "Kittie Kingdom" for our formerly young feral mama cat and her four kittens, which we adopted after the kittens were born under our house. Our five cats absolutely love the several tunnel-connected enclosures (consisting of one large custom space on a lower level of our yard connecting to two tunnel-connected separate lion's dens that connect with tunnels to our Habitat Haven lanai enclosure, and many shelves and climbing poles), which have also provided my husband and me with much peace-of mind and joy knowing that they are safe and happy with their space. Before Habitat Haven, we built a temporary enclosure without realizing the value of vertical space, tunnels, etc. Habitat Haven knows what cats want! From our cats' perspective: "Spacious outdoor but covered play and nap areas with lots of climbing opportunities. With five of us, we can spend time together yet each still have our own separate space when we want it."
Before I ever heard of Habitat Haven, I had my husband build a small enclosure with access from a window. Once I found HH, I knew I needed to expand my cats' outdoor experience to give them a more enriched life. I could not be more excited and happy with the enclosure I bought. We added the "my own den petit" to our existing enclosure with two tunnels. At first, I only bought one tunnel but quickly realized there was a territory issue (even though my two-year old cats have grown up together one tunnel was not going to work) so I had to purchase a 2nd tunnel to attach. Thankfully, the size of the 2nd tunnel did not require me to pay a freight cost (a WONDERFUL customer service guru helped me with the 2nd tunnel purchase). The enclosure is enriching my life also because I love watching my cats enjoy the space - it is truly gratifying to see them happy.
We added a pet door to our sliding glass door that opens to the catio tunnel into their play space! They love it! The catio even matches our patio chairs!
They spend so much time out in the catio. Great exercise and outdoor stimulation. So glad we made the decision to add this. Our neighbors love watching them play too.
